Location
The municipality of Săcele is located in the southeastern part of Brasov county, in the immediate vicinity of Brasov municipality (10 km from the center of Brasov municipality), being crossed by DN 1 A (Braşov – Vălenii de Munte – Predeal) and DN 1.
Strategically located in a non-crowded area, with excellent accessibility to the means of public transport, as well as to the entry / exit routes from Brașov county, the industrial and logistic park uses the existing industrial heritage, transforming it into an environment destined for to respond to the needs of any company in the field of industry or services.

Brașov County is located in the central area of Romania, at the intersection of trade routes that connect the Balkans with the rest of Europe. It covers 5,363 square km, representing 2.3% of the country’s territory. The agricultural land of the county totals 2,975.2 square km, ie 55.5% of the total agricultural area of the county, of which 1,182 square km arable land which represents 22% of the agricultural area of the county.
The administrative city of Brașov has a population of over 291,490 inhabitants. 46% of the county’s population is concentrated here, it also represents 63% of the county’s urban population. Other important cities are: Făgăraș (40,000 inhabitants), Săcele (36,000 inhabitants), Zărnești (26,700 thousand inhabitants), Codlea (26,200 thousand inhabitants), Râșnov (17,400 thousand inhabitants), Victoria (9,000 inhabitants), Predeal (5,300 thousand inhabitants) , Rupea (6,200 thousand inhabitants).
The population of the county counts 549,000 inhabitants. Density is 110.7 inhabitants / square km. Brașov County has one of the highest levels of urbanism in the country, 73.7% of the population living in municipalities and cities, and 26.3% in communes and villages.
The county of Brasov ended the year 2018 with 189,586 people employed. The number increased by 7,575 people (+ 4.2%) compared to the end of 2017, according to the data of the County Statistics Department. Thus, in December 2018 the county of Brasov remained in the fourth place in the country, if we consider the total number of employees, after the municipality of Bucharest and the counties of Cluj and Timis.
